A Six-Minute Walk From Van Vorst Park

Van Vorst Park is about six minutes from our door. Walk east along Montgomery Street, turn onto Christopher Columbus Drive, and we are at number 115 in the Medical Arts Plaza building. For most of the brownstones around the park, we are the closest dental office that does everything in one place.

That last part matters more than the distance. Plenty of offices are nearer to something. Fewer can take a family from a child’s first check-up through to an adult implant without sending anyone across town.

Getting here from the park

  • On foot. About six minutes. Head east on Montgomery Street, then left onto Christopher Columbus Drive.
  • By PATH. Grove Street station is between you and us, so the walk is shorter than the train.
  • Parking. The Grove Pointe garage at 100 Christopher Columbus Drive is directly opposite our building.

One office for the whole household

Van Vorst is a neighborhood of families and long-term residents rather than short-let renters, and that changes what people need from a dentist. You are not looking for a one-off cleaning between apartments. You are looking for somebody who will still be there in ten years and will know your children’s teeth.

Dr. Singal earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the New York University College of Dentistry and treats her patients herself. The same dentist sees you each visit, which sounds obvious until you have been passed between three associates at a larger practice.

We see children and adults. If your child has never been to a dentist before, tell us when you book and we will give the appointment more time than the slot strictly needs, so nobody is rushed.

Saturday mornings

We are open Saturday until 3:00pm, which is the easiest slot to use if you are trying to avoid taking children out of school or yourself out of work. Those appointments are the first to go, so book them further ahead than feels necessary.

  • Monday 9:00am to 6:00pm
  • Tuesday 9:00am to 5:30pm
  • Wednesday 9:00am to 5:30pm
  • Thursday 9:00am to 6:00pm
  • Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm
  • Saturday 9:00am to 3:00pm
  • Sunday closed

What we do here

Insurance

We take most major PPO dental plans. We do not take Medicaid, plans through the state, or any DHMO or DMO plan. If you are not sure which you have, call us with the card in front of you and we will tell you before you walk over. Without insurance, we take cash, debit and all major cards, and CareCredit spreads larger treatment over time.

Common questions

How far is the practice from Van Vorst Park?

About a six-minute walk. Head east along Montgomery Street and turn onto Christopher Columbus Drive. We are at number 115, Suite 200.

Do you see children as well as adults?

Yes. We treat families, from a child’s first visit through to adult treatment. Tell us when you book if it is a child’s first appointment and we will allow extra time.

Can we all be seen at the same practice?

Yes. Cleanings, fillings, root canals, implants and Invisalign all happen here, so a family does not get split between different offices.

Are you open at weekends?

We are open Saturday from 9:00am to 3:00pm. We are closed on Sunday.

Where would I park?

The Grove Pointe garage at 100 Christopher Columbus Drive is directly opposite the building, with more on Montgomery Street and First Street.
