Our office is on Christopher Columbus Drive itself, at number 115, in the building marketed as Medical Arts Plaza. If you live or work on this street, you do not have to go anywhere to find a dentist.
The city treats the corridor as running from Brunswick Street east to Hudson Street at the waterfront. It was Railroad Avenue before it was renamed, and it follows the line of a Pennsylvania Railroad viaduct that came down in the late 1960s, which is why it is so much wider than the streets around it.
Finding the door
- Number 115. Medical Arts Plaza, a small medical building with a lobby reception. We are in Suite 200.
- From the PATH. Grove Street station sits on this street, on the island where Christopher Columbus Drive meets Newark Avenue and Grove Street. There is a staircase exit at the southeast corner of Grove Street and Christopher Columbus Drive.
- By bus. The stop on the corner is signed C Columbus Drive at Grove St.
- By bike. Protected lanes run in both directions along the corridor.
Grove Street station is served by the Newark to World Trade Center line at all hours, by Journal Square to 33rd Street on weekdays, and by the Hoboken routing at weekends and late at night. Around nine New Jersey Transit bus routes meet there as well. It handled roughly 5.4 million passengers in 2025, fourth busiest of the thirteen PATH stations, so a great many people walk past our door every week without knowing we are above them.
Parking, which is the usual worry
Two garages sit on the street. Columbus Garage at 66 Christopher Columbus Drive is open 24 hours, with its entrance on the north side of the street between Marin Boulevard and Warren Street, and a height limit of 6 feet 10 inches. Grove Pointe Garage at 100 Christopher Columbus Drive is opposite our building, which is the shorter walk in bad weather.
If you already live on the street
A lot of people do. Grove Pointe stands at 100 and 102, and the Columbus Collection runs along the street at 50, 70 and 90, where 90 Columbus alone reaches fifty stories and 539 apartments and 70 Columbus another 48 stories. Most of those homes are recent, and most of the people in them arrived without a dentist in the neighborhood.
What we would say to any of them is the same thing. Nearly all of the work happens in this office rather than being sent elsewhere: implants, root canals, crowns, Invisalign and cosmetic treatment included.
