We are not in Journal Square, and it would be silly to suggest otherwise. We are one PATH stop away at Grove Street, which is about a five-minute ride on a train that runs every five minutes, then two minutes on foot.
That is the whole pitch. If you already pass through Grove Street, we are on a route you travel anyway. If you never leave Journal Square, there are good dentists there and you should use one.
Who this actually suits
Most people living around Journal Square commute through Grove Street or Exchange Place to get to work. An appointment at the end of that journey costs you almost nothing extra, because you were passing anyway. An appointment that requires a separate trip costs you an afternoon.
So the sensible way to use us from Journal Square is to book the last appointment of the day and stop on your way home. We close at 6:00pm on Monday, Thursday and Friday.
The journey
- By PATH. Journal Square to Grove Street is one stop, roughly five minutes, with trains about every five minutes. Leave by the Christopher Columbus Drive exit and walk two minutes west.
- By car. Around ten minutes outside rush hour. The Grove Pointe garage at 100 Christopher Columbus Drive is opposite our building.
- By bus. Several NJ Transit routes run between Journal Square and downtown along Newark Avenue.
What you get for the trip
Implants, root canals, crowns, Invisalign and cosmetic work all happen in this office, so a course of treatment does not become a series of trips to different specialists in different parts of the city. For someone traveling in, that is the difference that justifies the journey.
